This form is relatively rare. The strong vertical lines and arched windows reflect the Gothic decorative style. The facade is mainly composed vertically, with gothic windows. The arcade on the ground floor is also treated as a form of pseudo gothic windows, which makes people feel a strong gothic style.
Nanyang style
This kind of arcade has a unique and creative form in the Nanyang region - one or more round or other shaped openings on the daughter wall. It is an architectural wisdom to prevent typhoon attacks, reduce the wind load on buildings, and thus form a unique architectural art form.
