The Notice encourages all localities to maintain the characteristic image of the existing buildings according to the principle of respecting history and culture, and to transform the existing buildings according to the green and energy-saving requirements; Support to improve the applicability, practicability and comfort of existing buildings by expanding underground space, installing elevators, optimizing building structures, etc; Buildings that are really not suitable for continuous use shall be continuously used through renovation.
