In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the level of medical science and technology innovation in China and the improvement of various service functions of the park, Zhongguancun Life Science Park has gradually become a world-class biotechnology park, providing a platform with complete functions in biomedicine and other aspects for Beijing and even the whole country. In order to further improve the function of the site, promote the construction of the biotechnology park, and create a larger platform for the development of various pharmaceutical enterprises, Zhongguancun built a "green" medical science and technology center with a floor area of 125000 square meters in the northeast of the park in 2016. This project also received strong support from Beijing, It became one of the key construction projects of the year, a "high-class, sophisticated" industry cultivation project.
The medical science and technology center of Zhongguancun Life Science Park was officially started on October 25, 2016, and successfully passed the completion acceptance of the unit project on August 1, 2019. At present, the enterprises settled in all buildings have been basically clear, and have entered the interior decoration stage as planned.
According to the original design of the project, the Medical Technology Center will set up 6 separate buildings and make full use of the underground space, which will be used as the residence building for the headquarters of pharmaceutical enterprises, the R&D building and incubator for small and medium-sized enterprises, the R&D building for customized enterprises, and the supporting service building. It aims to provide various high-tech biomedical R&D institutions with biomedical R&D and pilot test, office, academic report and conference services by establishing a pharmaceutical enterprise center integrating various functions. It also provides development opportunities for all kinds of enterprises. The gathering of enterprises can jointly discuss and research biomedical technology, divide work and cooperate, improve work efficiency, and promote the common development of the entire pharmaceutical industry.
The Medical Science and Technology Center is located in Phase II of Life Park, with a building density of about 35%~40%, a floor area ratio of 0.8~1.5, a floor area of 77489.16 square meters, a total building area of 195835.26 square meters, and an overall green space ratio of 30%.
According to the information published in the list of Beijing green building evaluation and identification projects in 2019, the construction area of buildings 1 #, 3 #, 4 #, 5 #, 6 # and underground works of Zhongguancun Life Science Park Medical Science and Technology Center is 162600 square meters, reaching the two star standard of green buildings, and the floor area of building 2 # (R&D Experimental Office Building) is 33100 square meters, reaching the three-star standard of green buildings.
Putting environmental protection in an important position is the most valuable part of the medical science and technology center project. In the process of construction, the project has always adhered to the green belief. In the preparation stage of the project, a sound environmental protection system has been formulated, and there are sound disposal methods for sewage, noise, solid waste, etc. during the construction and operation periods. At the same time, the investment in purchasing corresponding equipment and environmental protection reached 17.07 million yuan, accounting for about 1% of the total investment. According to the data survey conducted according to the standard ranking, the medical science and technology center of Zhongguancun Life Science Park ranks in 2020 China Green Public buildings TOP10, and its green index is 9.6 according to the comprehensive calculation of building evaluation marks, grade, area, etc.
During the construction of the project, the Medical Science and Technology Center has successively passed the acceptance of Beijing Great Wall Cup of Building Structure, Beijing Green Safety Model Site, Beijing BIM Application Demonstration Project, Beijing Green Construction Demonstration Project (process inspection), etc., and has won six utility models, the first prize of Beijing QC achievement, the first prize of national QC achievement The 10th Beijing Class I Construction Project Management Achievement Award was also awarded the gold medal of the Beijing Great Wall Structure Cup in 2018.
The Medical Science and Technology Center has provided a platform for communication, learning and development for various high-tech biomedical R&D institutions, and has become an important part of the quality improvement work of Zhongguancun Life Science Park.
